96 hours to innovate around the sealing of the future: such was the challenge issued to students at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
The Innovation Camp is a challenge during which students at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon had the opportunity to invent solutions to issues raised by industrial companies and present and defend them before a jury of professionals and teachers.
For this third edition of the Innovation Camp, the Hutchinson teams challenged the students to imagine the sealing of the future to deal with the issues raised by new technologies and new uses, for all types of vehicles and mobility (electric, hydrogen, connected, autonomous or shared): a sealing which is effective in protecting the vehicles’ interior and interactive with the outside environment.
Hutchinson, an expert and leader in structural sealing solutions for the Automotive and Aerospace markets, gave the young students an opportunity to innovate on this theme for four days, working in a team, and then pitch their ideas to a jury of professionals and teachers.
The Hutchinson team won the Award for the best solution. They were rewarded during a ceremony which ended these 96 hours of emulation.
